54 Hours Pharmacology Course

This course meets the Pharmacology course requirement under method 3 of eligibility to sit for NCLEX-PN in the state of CA
Target Audience:
1. VN/RN students who are required to complete 54 hours of Pharmacology course to take the NCLEX-PN based on the equivalency method
2. Foreign RN graduates who are required to take a Pharmacology course to be eligible for NCLEX PN in the state of CA
3. CNA/MA/EMT who meet the experience requirement set by CA BVNPT under method 3/5
Method 3/5 requires the equivalent of completion of 51 months of paid bedside nursing experience in an acute care facility, verification of skill competency, and 54-theory hours of pharmacology.
The only requirement that we need from students who sign up for our class is for them to understand that this course is mainly used to meet the requirements for the equivalency method. It does not confer any degree. The experience/education requirement will be your responsibility. Whether you meet the experience or are still working on your experience does not affect your ability in taking the course.

This course covers the following topics:
- Knowledge of commonly used drugs and their action
- Computation of dosages
- Preparation of medications
- Principles of administration
Pharmacology Course Options
Option 1. Online course (self-study): $325 (you can enroll and start anytime)
This option does not meet with an instructor. This option is for you if you can study on your own and don't need any instructor assistance. It is a self-paced, self-study course. Start anytime and can be completed as soon as you can but must be completed within three months from registration.
Option 2. Online course with instructor assistance: $475 (you can enroll and start anytime)
Self-study with the option to ask questions/interact with the instructor about the modules/topics and quizzes. Start anytime and can be completed as soon as you can but must be completed within three months from registration.
You can begin with Option 1. If, at any point, you find that you require the assistance of an instructor, you have the flexibility to upgrade to Option 2 by simply paying an additional $150
Option 3. Live Class: $850 (12 meetings - next class starts on June 17, 2025)
Traditional classroom (face to face) setting. Live lectures are conducted. Topics may be eligible for up to 36 CE hours.
Initial payment of $250 is required to reserve a seat and register for the class. $50 is due every week

All exams are done online
A grade of at least 75% will earn you 54 hours credit for Pharmacology which you can use to satisfy the Pharmacology course requirement under the equivalency method (method 3) of the CA Board of Vocational Nursing.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS
1. Click on the REGISTER NOW below. You will be directed to the payment page. If your payment (card) information is different from the student taking the class, make sure that you enter the student's name and email address on the "add additional note to merchant" which is found below the total of your order details.
2. You will receive an email from admin@nclexpasser.com to confirm your identity by sending a photo ID. A text message from 619-704-9088 will be sent to your registered number when the email is sent. This may take 24-48 hours after you have made your payment. Be sure to add admin@nclexpasser.com to your safe contact list so that emails from us will not be forwarded to your junk mail.
3. We will send you an email instruction on how to access the course once we have received confirmation of your identity (This may take 24-48 hours). For option 1 and option 2, you will have three months from your registration date to complete the course. The average time to complete the course is about 4-6 weeks.
