This an American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Course. It is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.
Intended Audience
Healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical and occupational therapists, physician's assistants, residents or fellows, or medical or nursing students in training, aides, medical or nursing assistants, police officers, and other allied health personnel.
Course requirement:
1. unexpired bls card* (for renewal course only)
* must be presented on the day of the class
BLS card may not be available immediately after the class. Cards will be mailed as soon as it is processed by the training center. However, a certificate/letter of completion may be issued upon request right after the class .

You need a full course if you have not taken an American Heart Association CPR class or if your card is expired.
Part II ($45) - Skills testing ( about 30 - 45 minutes) with AHA BLS instructor.
