Q: I am a student, can I take the course while I am in school? A: Yes, you can take the course. The board does not restrict nursing students from taking the course while they are in their program of study. Q: How often do we need to take the course? Does the certification expire?
A: You only need to take the course once. The certification does not expire.
Q: I am afraid of needles. Can I bring someone for the venipuncture?
A: Yes, you can bring a volunteer. Before we perform a livestick, we practice the skills on a manikin.
